The triangle is based on the play "No Exit". three people are thrown into hell to live together forever. Each loves one of the other two people and hate the other. The one they love, hates them and the one they hate, loves them. Therefore it is a vicious cycle of love hate. No one can have what they want and are repulsed by what want them.
