Low Country Paintings

The low country series of paintings reflect Jim Horton's love of nature and the appreciation for the beautiful low country areas of the south. A stroll along the waterway and beach provided the inspiration for several of the paintings in this series. During an extended visit in Florida he painted the St. Marks Lighthouse, Marcos Island and other Florida landscapes.
All of the paintings shown below are original oil paintings on canvas.
